Overview
Why choose the E-Series Bay & Bow Windows?
Bay and bow windows project outward from the wall, adding floor space, a natural window seat and light from multiple directions. Bays use three units set at 30°, 45° or 90°; bows curve gently with four or more casement units at 10°. The Andersen E-Series is the fully custom line — wood interiors in ten species, aluminum-clad exteriors in fifty colors and seven anodized finishes, multi-tone combinations and custom color matching — so the window can be as traditional or as modern as the house around it.

Every Andersen E-Series unit can be ordered with the glass package that fits its exposure. All options are ENERGY STAR® certified configurations; ask us about impact-rated glass for coastal wind zones.
SmartSun™ glass
All the benefits of Low-E glass plus extra protection from the Florida sun — it filters out 95% of harmful UV rays while letting daylight through. Our most-recommended glass for North Florida.
Low-E4® glass
Reflects summer heat away and helps hold conditioned air inside, a strong all-around choice where cooling costs matter most.
HeatLock® coating
An interior-surface coating that reflects escaping heat back into the room. Can be added to most Andersen glass options.
PassiveSun® glass
Lets the sun help warm your home in winter — best suited to shaded or north-facing openings.
Low-E4® Sun glass
A subtle tint that blocks even more solar heat — ideal for west-facing walls and pool decks.
Triple-pane glass
Three panes for the highest insulation and sound control — a favorite near busy roads.
Decorative & specialty glass
Patterned, obscure and art glass for bathrooms, entries and accent windows, plus tempered safety glass where code requires it.
Every window includes an insect screen; upgrade to TruScene® for a nearly invisible view.
Insect screens
Charcoal fiberglass mesh in an aluminum frame finished in any of the 50 E-Series exterior colors. Aluminum mesh and wood-veneered screen frames are also available.
TruScene® insect screen
Andersen’s exclusive TruScene® screens provide over 50% more clarity than conventional screens, let in more light and air, and keep out smaller insects.
